BES is used as a buffer to maintain the pH of the solutions in biological experiments. It is useful for diagnostic assay manufacturing industry. It induces cross-linking between sulfonated polyimide chains in sulfonated polyimide membranes. It acts as biobuffer to investigate the aqueous medium self-assembly of heterometallic CuII/Li 3D coordination polymers.

Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell. Take off contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Dispose of contents/ container to an approved waste disposal plant
